It was a BEE-utiful rest day

Today we had a rest day. Needless to say, most of us slept in. Once we got up we all talked in the common area. Some of us went shopping at the dukas while others went up to RVA to go to senior store. They got ice cream and watched some of the field hockey tournament. Most people caught up on readings and sleep.

We had lunch together, and right after lunch, Meagan got attacked by a bee. The bee got stuck in her hair, but don’t worry, we got it out and it didn’t sting her.

Then Isaac, who is our main contact, shared his testimony. He opened up on his life and his motivation for starting Rift Valley Hope.

There was then more sleeping, journaling, reading, and shopping done after lunch.

We finished the day with dinner and debriefing. It was a much-needed low-key day.
